Irish Groups in Singapore

St. Patrick's Society is a community based group and we proudly support the other Irish groups in Singapore, there is something for everyone; sporting groups, professional groups, cultural groups.

Singapore Gaelic Lions

The SGL was formed in 1997 and has grown to become one of the largest Gaelic Athletic Association clubs in Asia. Their members represent Singapore in the sports of Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie. The membership hail from all over the world, including Asia-Pac, Europe and North America. St. Patrick's Society Singapore are proud sponsors of the Cubs  SGL's under age teams.

Irish Inspirational Dance

Irish Inspirational Dance is home to many young Irish Dancers in Singapore.  The school's mission is to bring joy to children of all ages through dance in a social and friendly environment, and guide them to become better dancers.  The dancers from Irish Inspirational Dance have been showcasing their talents at our AGM and our Annual Ball each year. 

Gaelic Dragons

The Gaelic Dragons are an Irish dragon boat team in Singapore. Everyone is welcome! The team was founded in 2004 and is a vibrant part of Singapore's rapidly growing competitive dragon boating community. They are affiliated with the Singapore Dragon Boat Association (SDBA) and an active member of the local International Dragon Boat Committee (IDBC) participating in every SDBA open and international class paddling event held.

Gaelic Lions FC

The Gaelic Lions FC soccer club was founded in 2008 as an off-shoot of the Gaelic Lions GAA club. Since 2008, the club has grown exponentially and welcomes players of all nationalities, levels and age groups. The club now boasts 4 x men’s 11-a-side teams (Cosmo League, Equatorial League and an over-40’s Vets side), 5-a-side teams and weekly Gaelic Soccer Cubs training for kids/juniors. So, dust off your boots and connect with them.

Irish Graduates Association of Singapore

The Irish Graduates Association of Singapore (IGAS) is a non-profit alumni society for holders of degrees and diplomas from Irish tertiary institutes (North and South like the rugby team).

 

We also welcome Associate Members, either graduates or non-graduates, with an interest in the island of Ireland.

​

IGAS is predominantly a networking and social organisation, maintaining links with institutes in Ireland and Irish societies in Singapore. Our friendly, relaxed ethos is a blend of Singapore and Ireland. We welcome new members from all backgrounds.

The Irish Chamber of Commerce

The Irish Chamber of Commerce Singapore was founded in 2010 as the successor to the Irish Business Association founded in 1992.

The Chamber provides access to a powerful network of relevant leaders and companies in Asia and Ireland for mutual commercial benefit. We facilitate formal and informal events and contacts that help members to be effective in their professional roles through key business benefits; business insights, connection and advocacy.

Northern Irish Connections

Northern Irish Connections is the global community for the Northern Irish abroad, as well as friends of Northern Ireland. Whether you were born in Northern Ireland, or you have family from the region, or you are just interested and want to know more, then we want to hear from you.
