💍 Love is in the (Irish) Air

We’re kicking things off with a huge congratulations to our amazing members Galina and Daithí, who tied the knot back home in Ireland last week! We wish you a lifetime of happiness together — what a beautiful celebration!

🎸 Gary is Going Global with Rockin’1000

Gary, husband of our incoming VP Tracy, is heading to Portugal to perform with Rockin’1000 — the world’s largest rock band. If you haven’t checked them out yet, now’s the time. We’re already planning his homecoming gig in Singapore when he's back!

🎤 Conor Walshe's Solo Gigs

If you’ve been to our Annual Ball, you’ll know and love Conor Walshe, lead singer of Gan Ainm. He has a few solo gigs lined up in the coming weeks — keep an eye out and go support one of our favourite Irish voices in Singapore!

😢 Farewell, Sarah Dunne

We’re still slightly in denial about this one… Our beloved committee member Sarah Dunne has left Singapore. Sarah brought so much warmth, energy and heart to everything she did — we miss you already!

🌊 Team Ireland Competing in Singapore

Swim Ireland are in town for the World Aquatics Championships, with events running from July 27 to August 3. This is an amazing opportunity to cheer on our athletes here on home turf. You can check out the full schedule and grab your tickets via the link here.

🚴‍♂️ Meeting Fergal aka @rossie_to_aussie

Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Fergal Guihen (@rossie_to_aussie) to Muddy Murphy’s. Fergal is cycling all the way from Roscommon to Sydney (yes, really!) to raise funds for two amazing charities: Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation and NorthWest STOP. We’re in awe of his mission and can’t wait to follow his journey across the globe. Read more about Fergal, his journey and what you can do to support him here.

A Book from Our President!

We’re bursting with pride! Our amazing President Sorcha Boyce has written a children’s book — Lola the Office Dog — a heartwarming story about a pup searching for her “real family.” She wrote it while pregnant five years ago, and her husband recently surprised her with a beautifully illustrated version for her birthday 🐾
